When I visit a person whom I do not know, first Ilook at his bookshelf (has he got any books at all, first of all ?). A bookself or preferably bookshelves betray(s) a lot. What is (s)he interested in? Does (s)he have a narrow view on the world? Or even, whether he has money recently to buy new books?

are associated with their authors, this is a good opportunity for me to
list those peoples (thinkers, artists) whom influence my thinking, I like
to read, listen or with whome I agree.
Since I am a biologist, more precisely a neurobiologist several of the
books are on cognitive science (sorry for this for some of you).
