A paper titled Molecular characteristics and laminar distribution of prefrontal neurons projecting to the mesolimbic system has been published in eLife.
Aletta and Ferenc co-author new Yale publication on AgRP neurons
A new paper on AgRP neurons and their effect on cortical structure and function has been published in the journal Molecular Psychiatry with Aletta and Ferenc as co-authors.
The study - led by Yale researcher Tamás Horváth - demonstrates that AgRP neurons of the hypothalamus affect normal cortical development in the medial prefrontal cortex and that this effect is mediated via the ventral tegmental area and the midline thalamus. Aletta and Ferenc unveiled the midlie thalamic involvement in this circuit.
We are the Neuronal Network and Behavior research group established in 2015. We are driven to understand emotional brain circuits and their malfunctions, combining various neurobiological techniques, from molecular biology to behavioral assays.
